Moving to Apple

Over the last few weeks some big things have been happening behind the scenes for me and my family. I have accepted a posititon working for Apple Computer in Cupertino, Ca where I will be designing user interfaces and drawing icons for Apple’s Professional Applications. Over the next few weeks I will be moving out to California and living in a temporary apartment while I look for a final place to call home.

What does this mean for Pixelnet Design?

Unfortunately this also means that I will no longer be doing free/freelance work here at Pixelnet Design. I will probably keep the site open in blog format where I can post from time to time but I will no longer be posting new releases. I do have two current projects that I would like to still get out to the public (Carbonite Theme for Shapeshifter and Mizu Icons) but I don’t know if I will have the time to finish them. Thanks to everyone who has supported me over the last few years and wish me luck in this exciting endeavor.

Thanks for Visiting!

I sure hope you get to finish Carbonite and Mizu before you start pixel pushing at Apple! Good luck man and don’t forget to stay in touch with the community. Rememeber, this is only a job, not your life, work hard at it and relax when you get home!

Wow, that’s really great news! Thank you for all the releases you have made, they not only make working on my iBook more aesthetically pleasing, but the new environment that is able to be created because of your work allows for more inspiration than if I were to be stuck with the standard theme and icons.

    Congratulations.
